WIPW: Work-In-Progress Wednesday - Grannies and Ripples

I've come a long way since last Wednesday on my grannies and ripples afghan! The grannies on last week's are going to be the center of the blanket and i'm working it in a symmetrical pattern on each side.

After I finish a few rows of the beige on the end, i'll add a row of grannies to the opposite end and work from there for a bit. It's turning out so nice though!

I am linking this bad boy up over at Tami's WIP, Ambassador Crochet, and Yarn Along.

I love the idea of having a link up of my own, because I love looking at others projects. So please feel free to link up with me too! No need to grab a button or say you did.

    1. Thank you! I like choosing some pastely colors for certail projects, especially when it's a gift for someone else. Pastels seem to fit better with schemes of their rooms.

    1. I was getting nervous on how this would look, until I added the row of grannies. I was so happy with how they look added on! I can't wait to do the other side.

  12. Oh my Gosh this is one Afghan you should never part with while you are alive, the colors are exquisite and I love the ripples. This is one of the most beautiful afghans ever, I can't wait to see it finished.
I hope you don't mind if I use your color scheme to crochet a nook and cell phone cover pouch for husband and mom. My mom's already scratched her new Tracfone LG800G smart prepaid phone, which has a large touch screen, it cost her $50, but I don't want to pay rediculous prices for pouches. I think home made crocheted pouches for ipads, nooks and phones are totally cool and original and they are so eyecatching with their beautiful colors.
